Silicon Nitride (Si3N4) Ceramic Piston Sleeve Product Introduction:

Silicon nitride (Si3N4) ceramic piston sleeves are high-performance engineering ceramic products with the following significant characteristics:

1. High Hardness and Wear Resistance: Vickers hardness of over 1800 HV (HRA 90+), Mohs hardness of 8-9, excellent wear resistance, with a wear rate only 1/10 of traditional metal materials.

2. High Temperature Resistance: Can operate stably in air up to 1200℃, and up to 1400℃ in a protective atmosphere, and can withstand drastic temperature changes without cracking.

3. Thermal Shock Resistance: Low thermal expansion coefficient (2.8-3.2×10⁻⁶/℃) and good thermal conductivity (20-30 W/m·K), capable of withstanding rapid temperature changes from 1000℃ to cold water.

4. Chemical Stability: Extremely resistant to most acids, bases, and molten metals (except hydrofluoric acid and concentrated strong bases).

5. Self-Lubricating Properties: Low surface friction coefficient (0.02-0.1), reducing energy loss and dependence on external lubricants.
