Shanghai Hengyi Ceramics New Materials Co., Ltd. was established in December 25th, 2013 in Shanghai Baoshan District. It is a new materials company which focuses on preparing high-temperature ceramics by vacuum hot-pressing method. The company passed the ISO9001 Quality Management System Certification in 2015 and obtained a title of "Professionalization, precision management, particular and innovation”. It was awarded the model enterprise of "civil-military integration" in Baoshan District in 2016.
For now, our company has developed and completed a number of product lines including boron carbide, boron nitride, silicon carbide and silicon nitride. Boron carbide is the third hardness of the material in nature. Its Vickers hardness can reach 3000-3300MPa, which commonly used as abrasive materials, wear-resistant structural parts and is also good neutron absorption medium. Our 2nd-generation boron carbide multi surface bulletproof ceramics, which have passed the professional gun-shot test, have been supplied to the market. At the same time, the company is constantly forging ahead, making great breakthroughs in the fields including bulletproof backpack (made from HDPE), the selection and production process of adhesives. We are capable of undertaking high standard bulletproof plate business.
Boron nitride composite ceramic, because of its excellent thermodynamic properties, is widely used in the metallurgical industry. The Side-dem and amorphous nozzle produced by our company have been bulk supplied, meanwhile we maintain a good relationship of cooperation with the leading enterprises including Hebei Jingye group, Qingdao Yunlu New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and other industries. Also we own the intellectual property of side-dem, which making us the only enterprise in China to master the formula and industrialization. In addition, the company has also been able to prepare other ceramic materials, including silicon carbide and silicon nitride.
The company occupies more than 50 acres and has the largest high-temperature hot-pressing furnace production line among the country's normal operation currently; more than 40 sets of a variety of scientific research production and ancillary equipment; 15 sets for testing and auxiliary equipment. There are 42 existing staff including 13 research and development personnel, 4 technical advisers at professor-level. 67% of the staff has junior college education and above. The company established a good relationship of cooperation with scientific research institutions such as Shanghai Jiaotong University, Wuhan University of Science and Technology and Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
