氮化硅陶瓷综合性能优异：
1.极强的耐腐蚀性，除浓的HF外，可在其他强酸强碱中使用。
2.耐高温，氧化气氛下可以耐到1200℃时，还原气氛中最高可耐1500℃。
3.不导磁，电绝缘，低导热性，可用于绝缘隔热材料。
4.低密度，高强度和硬度，可做为耐磨材料。
5.较低的热膨胀系数（3.2×10-6/K）,约为氧化铝陶瓷的30%，氧化锆陶瓷的40%，能够承受温度的急剧变化而不开裂。
