Introduction to Separated Turbine Silicon Nitride Ceramic Products:
Silicon nitride (Si₃N₄) is an important structural ceramic material with the chemical formula Si₃N₄, possessing the following excellent characteristics:
1. High hardness and wear resistance: Vickers hardness is typically above 1600 HV, and HRA can reach above 90, exhibiting good wear resistance.
2. High-temperature resistance: The melting point is as high as 1900℃, and it can still maintain more than 90% of its strength at a high temperature of 1200℃.
3. Thermal stability: It has a low coefficient of thermal expansion (3.1×10⁻⁶/℃) and can withstand drastic temperature changes (-200℃ to 1600℃).
4. Lightweight: The density is only 3.2-3.4 g/cm³, which is 40% lighter than titanium alloy and 50% lighter than high-temperature alloys.
5. Chemical stability: It has good resistance to various chemical media and is suitable for corrosive environments.
Aerospace Field
Engine turbine blades: Utilizing a β-Si₃N₄ columnar crystal interlocking structure, maintaining stability at high temperatures of 1400℃, resulting in a 15% increase in thermal efficiency.
Combustion chamber liners: Able to withstand drastic temperature changes, avoiding the thermal deformation problems of traditional metal materials.
Satellite components: Providing long-term stable operation in the alternating hot and cold environment of space.
2. Other Industrial Applications: Mechanical sealing rings, permanent molds, bearings, and other high-precision mechanical components.
