Jiangsu Freds Powder Technology Co., Ltd. is a joint-stock high-tech enterprise focusing on ZrO2 powders and its related products. It mainly deals in various specifications of zirconia powder, functional new material powder, high-performance grinding media and related ceramic products. The company has two production bases: one is in Baotou City, Inner Mongolia,the other is in Zhen'An , Shanxi Province.

The Baotou branch is one of the earliest enterprises in China to produce nano zirconia powder and yttrium stabilized zirconia powder (Y-ZrO2) by self propagating hydrolysis process at low temperature . The original grain size of our powder is small and consistent. The powder is one of the excellent raw mateirals for zirconia high-tech ceramic products because of its high-toughness and high-strength. At present, the company can produce 1500T per year for 3y-psz powder , 300T per year for bio-ceramic powder (dental, orthopedic, surgical equipment), 500T per year for the powder with different mole , and 700T per year for monoclinic zirconia powder.

Zhen’An branch produces a variety of stable zirconia powders, colored zirconia powders, functional new material powders, high-performance grinding media and related ceramic products, among which Cerium stabilized zirconia powder (Ce-PSZ), Calcium stabilized zirconia powder (Ca-PSZ), magnesium stabilized zirconia powder (Mg-PSZ), and cerium yttrium composite stabilized zirconia powder (CE. Y-ZrO2) are the fist and featured products. At the same time, Freds is one of the manufacturers that can make full colored zirconia powder in China . Our blue, black, green, yellow, coffee, orange, apricot and other color powders have been exported to South Korea, Japan and other countries.

Functional new material powder is a new material developed and improved by the company in recent years, mainly covering the fields of thermal conductive ceramics, corrosion-resistant ceramics, oxygen detection, high-temperature spraying and other related industries. High performance grinding media is also a new product by using our own powder. It has the characteristics of high fracture toughness, high flexural strength , compressive strength, and good true density which is mainly used in the field of wet grinding.The related ceramic products are mainly for our customers from Japan and Germany.

The company has a number of invention patents, and has independently applied for invention patents covering colored zirconia powders, low temperature self propagating stabilized zirconia powders, composite zirconia powders and other synthetic technologies, with independent intellectual property rights. The company has a number of returned doctors, post-doctors, and actively cooperates with enterprises in developed countries such as Japan and Germany to continuously improve product performance and technology.
