2.Properties and uses:
This product is γ-form white spheric active aluminum oxide,which is used for the recovery of sulfur from acidic gas containing sulfur by liquefaction in petrochemical industry.The product is prepared from intermediate raw materials of quick dehydration process production.It has the features of high crushing strength,low abrasion rate,good activity, long period of serivice life,good physic-chemical properties and high catalytic activity etc.The performances of the product,such as hydrolytic activity of Claus,hydrolytic activity to organic sulfur,resistance to sulfation,heat stability and chemical composition,can reach the level of CR-form aluminum oxide catalyst made by France.
This product is suitable for the sulfur recovery in the refined oil plant,natural gas plant,coal gas plant,petrochemical and chemical plant.
3.Main technical indexes:

4. Precautions: (1) In the operation process,prevent the bed layer of the reactor from high temperature,carbon deposition and sulfation, start or stop working carefully,so as to keep the high activity of catalyst and prolong the service life of catalyst.
(2)The oxygen and sulfur dioxide content in the air flow entered into the reactor should be decreased as much as possible,so as to prevent the catalyst from sulfation poisoning.At normal operation,H2S/SO2(molecular rate)should be about 2.
(3)Under the air flow containing sulfur steam,the temperature in all part of the bed layer of the reactor should be less than the dew point of sulfur,so as to avoid the sulfur deposition on catalyst and plugging off the pipeline.Any wrong operation of raise temperature or drop temperature should be avoided.
(4)Amines,hydrocarbons,and ammonium etc should be avoided into the reactor,so as to prevent the catalyst form carbon deposition,plugging the pipeline and forming poisonous materials,such as ammonium sulfate etc.
